We had a wonderful time staying at Chater Cottage. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and there was ample seating for meals and relaxation. The private outdoor space was a lovely bonus. Despite the occasional struggles with the WiFi, we were able to connect and use it most of the time. The responsive host quickly resolved any issues we had, including providing a new hair dryer when the old one stopped working. The underfloor heating was a great feature that kept us warm during our stay. Although the bedroom had limited headroom, we found the cottage overall to be comfortable and quiet. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as the height of the bedroom and the slightly uncomfortable pillows, we had a great experience at Chater Cottage. I would highly recommend this place for a delightful stay in Rothbury.
